The wind knows my name by Isabel Allende
A novel that consists of all types of charades crossing all sorts of borders. The latest novel by Allende opens on Kristallnacht in Vienna, where Samuel Adler's father is severely battered before succumbing to his wounds. However, Samuel doesn't learn it until after several years have passed. After his motherboards a Kinder transport train for England, Samuel loses contact with both of his parents. After eight decades, Anita Diaz, a blind 7 years old girl, and her mother board another train and seek refuge in the united states but during her arrival, she met with her new family separation policy and find her alone in the camp. She manages to escape from there. Allende’s rich and evocative prose draws readers into these characters leaving them with a profound sense of hope and inspiration.

The seven-year slip by Ashley Poston
The story takes place in New York and revolves around a senior publicist named Clementine. Six months after the passing of her cherished Aunt Analea, Clementine is still in mourning. She is still attempting to personalize the ancient Upper East Side flat she inherited from her aunt. There are many reminders of her aunt, including two key lessons she once taught to her niece: always remove your shoes by the entrance and never fall in love. The relationship between Clementine and Analea is wonderful and I loved the way Analea loved to travel the world with her niece.

The spare room by Andréa Bartz
Kelly's transition to a new life in Philadelphia went wrong. She is trapped in a flat during lockdown with the man she sacrificed everything for, friendless and jobless. The sole bright spot in her life was her friendship with Sabrina, a glamorous best-selling author with a dashing husband who was a childhood friend. They provide a spare room in their secluded Virginia house as a favor, giving Kelly the chance to flee her previous existence. The pair decides to open her marriage to her after encountering a wild and unanticipated threesome. Kelly discovers that the last lady they invited into their marriage is missing and that he might be the next person in peril. Andrea's trademark toxic relationships, conflict, and narrative turns are throughout the novel. This makes it highly fascinating to many readers.

Paris Daughter by Kristin Harmel
Another compelling story that was nicely
crafted. A tale of making friends during World War II and attempting to live as
normally as possible for the kids. Your heart breaks for mothers who must make
the difficult choice to cut off contact with their kids to perhaps save their
lives. The plot revolves around forgiving others, forging new friendships,
learning to live another day, and staying true to your word. Have tissues on
hand because this story is quite heartbreaking. I read a copy of this work that
was provided to me in advance, and I am freely writing honestly.
